1/2 cup Margarine
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1 cup Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 ripe Bananas (1 cup)

Cream margarine & sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl and gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas. Sread into greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Cool.

Frosting
Combine:
1 pkg Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Margarine
2 tsp Vanilla
3 - 4 cups Icing Sugar

Beat enough icing sugar in until desired consistency is reached and spread over cake. YUM!

I inherited this recipe from my mom and it is a definite family favourite!! The cake is perfectly moist and the cream cheese icing is divine!!

...my mouth is watering Jamie! Why oh WHY does Hailey devour the bananas so fast? I'm going to have to hide some next time so that I can make this, ha ha.

also, if these are baked in the pampered chef stoneware bar pan, they are extra moist. I often double the recipe so the icing is really really thick!

holy cow. i just made this - it's amazing!! i cheated & used the Betty Crocker icing!! :) thanks for the recipe Jamen!
